How Alerts Work

Alerts are event-driven updates tied to the entities you follow. They are designed to help you notice meaningful state changes without asking you to constantly re-check the same names manually.

What triggers an alert

Alerts are created when fresh snapshots produce a meaningful policy, grade, or tracked-state change for a stock or entity you follow.

What a new user should expect

A brand-new account should not be flooded with random alerts. Personalized alerts become useful only after you start following stocks, watchlists, or portfolios that matter to you.

Review states

Delivery and review states such as read, acknowledged, or dismissed describe what happened to a notification. They are not the same as a system failure.

Where to manage alerts

Alerts are managed from the dedicated Alerts section. The account profile page stays focused on identity and account basics rather than duplicating the entire alerts workflow.
